An exploration on monumental scale in relation to the movement of Pop Art. Students were asked to find a small object and then complete a drawing of that small object from observation onto a piece of paper at least six feet long. This pushed the students to explore minute details and open conversations about the impact that scale can have on the meaning or content of the piece itself.
